Direct Access is for people who are looking to ride any size motorcycle straight after passing their tests
For Direct Access, we use the Kawasaki ER650, which is a modern middleweight machine with a modest power output and modern brakes and steering ‘feel’. Combined with good visibility it makes a good learners' bike, yet still being very much a "real" motorcycle.

Sessions on these 650cc machines are for 2 hours with a maximum group size of 2 customers per instructor.
Learning to ride on a large motorcycle does not mean you will start on a large motorcycle immediately. The first 2-3 lessons may bein on the 125cc bikes,
Our instructors will decide when they feel it is safe enough to allow you to progress to the large machines; this is for your on safety, not to beneefit us.
It is our opinion that it is good practise to achieve good machine control before transferring that skill to a much larger machine. This improves the safety
and enjoyment of learning, we believe in the learning curve not cliff!
However, if someone has plenty of riding experience and/or has shown the necessary ability on CBT (or by a free assessment) then we can begin on the big
bikes.
